Child Safety in the Car

Booster seats

As a parent, you should be aware of the safety of your children all the time, not only at school or at home. The safety of your children while driving your car for a journey or in the city is essential and you should take urgent measures in advance. Booster seats are a mandatory accessory enhancing the safety of your kids. As babies or toddlers, they are not suitable to be put in them but after they grow to the required weight and height, using booster seats becomes of significant importance. Before setting out on a travel, you should choose the right model that suggests optimal cosiness and safety for the children.

Never leave a child alone in a car

Write it down very carefully and remember that children should never be left alone in the car. Never! Your infants do not know how to drive a car in case you had forgotten to set the parking brake. But that is not the worse it could happen. If their belts are not tightened up properly, they can easily get away from the booster seats and to hurt themselves or escape from the car ultimately. Do not get panicked. Nothing of the above-mentioned dangers will happen if you secure the attendance of another adult in case you leave the car for a while.

Where to get help

Unfortunately, car accidents are one of the most widespread factors for the death of children (including babies and toddlers). For example, in the US for the past 2 years, more than 1200 children at the age of 12 or younger died. In addition, more than 250 000 got different woundings or were badly injured. The most shocking fact revealed was that more than 40 % of the casualties had not been buckled up. So, no matter you are a parent or caregiver, you can make a lifesaving decision by tightening up the belts of the booster seats before travelling. Perhaps you are familiar with the restraints that they should be installed only at the back seat. Remember that restraint and always stick to it.
